program description

an annual research exploration for advanced and professional artists taking place in Seattle, hosted by washington state university. this program serves as an invitation to dive into an intimate creative process facilitated by extraordinary faculty and guest companies from around the world. in this one-week period, artists from all backgrounds and interests will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative dialogue through movement, deepen their personal artistic appoach, and explore movement with meaning and sensitivity to the stakeholders of a story. dancers will have the opportunity to deepen in a variety of elements of their choosing including:

floorwork ― partnering ― various technique ― improvisation ― creative processes

DATES: sunday-saturday, JUNE 21, 2020-JUNE 27, 2020 10am-4:30pm (includes sunday showing from 2-4pm).

REQUIRED MATERIALS: submit resume, headshot, video sample.

*video must demonstrate high level technique and improvisational skills. acting experience is beneficial. open to advanced and professional artists.​
